Joe Wicks "The Body Coach" brought his energy and enthusiasm to Dover today!

Massive thank you to our neighbouring primary school, Charlton Primary for inviting our Sports Leaders down to take part in PE with Joe Wicks. Joe was very kind with his time and took a genuine interest in the lads current training plans and their use of social media. As always, it’s great to see the power of physical movement and fitness in full play!

  • Sports Leaders

    Fri 19 Apr 2024

Some of our Year 10's visited Dover Athletics this week to be Sports Leaders for the Dover School Games Football Tournament. Our students had the role of refereeing and officiating the football games for Year 1 & 2 pupils from local primary schools.

They are excellent role models and helped the tournaments to run smoothly.

Both the staff at Dover Athletic and the School Games Organiser praised our students for their hard work, politeness and attitude to the tournament, and also said they were the best Sports Leaders they have had! What an accolade!

This is a great achievement, well done to all involved!👏👏⭐

  • Our Very Own Classical Classic!

    Tue 26 Mar 2024

Former Pupil and staff member Marika picked up the Prentice Trophy for the second year in a row for Lieder at the Gala Concert held by Thanet Music and Drama Festival.

The Thanet Music and Drama Festival was founded as a charity in 1921, and each year offers a platform for hundreds of amateur musicians, actors and dancers in and around the Thanet area to perform in front of an audience and gain expert critical advice.

The festival consists of five sections (Instrumental, Speech & Drama, Piano, Dance, Vocal & Choral) and is held in February to March every year, culminating in an Award Ceremony & Gala Concert featuring some of the best performances from all sections.

    Congratulations and well-done Marika!
