Miles for Miles - A Heroes Welcome
Mon 20 Jun 2022A very loving and emotional homecoming, Mr Graves wasn’t the only wiping away tears, he got to us all! The atmosphere was incredible, a real family and solid community. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Mr Graves in raising funds for his nephew, Miles, who is being treated for osteosarcoma.
The total amount raised by Friday was a staggering £25,181.00. This will go towards funding future treatment and prosthetics for Miles.
Mr Graves said “ it was lovely to come home to St Edmund’s, a completely overwhelming feeling. Mentally and physically challenging, but nothing compared to the gruelling treatment Miles must endure. I’m truly thankful for all the support, donations and the overwhelming home coming, it was a real team effort!”
