Character Education Passport

In order to record and track how students benefit from what St Edmund’s Catholic School offer each student has a Character Education Passport.  The Passport has 40 differentiated targets.  20 of the targets focus on tasks that each student should achieve during the academic year and the remaining 20 are based on activities they should achieve at one point in their time at St Edmund’s Catholic School.  Each student’s progress towards the targets can then be monitored and intervention can be provided to ensure that the school can ensure that the appropriate opportunities are provided to each individual.  Tutors and PSHE teachers meet with students regularly to discuss and record each child’s progress and through these conversations. Tutors can understand and help to reduce barriers to participation.

The Year group passports can be found below.  Each passport also has an age appropriate reading list included.
