Ash Wednesday 5th March 2025

Ash Wednesday

Today, our students participated in a meaningful Ash Wednesday service, distributing ashes along with a short liturgy.

What is Ash Wednesday? Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a 40-day period of reflection and preparation leading up to Easter. It is a day of repentance, where Christians receive ashes on their foreheads in the shape of a cross. The ashes symbolise our mortality and the need for reconciliation with God.

We are proud of our students for embracing this tradition and contributing to our community's Catholic life.
