Year 9 Trip - Sikh Gurdwara March 2025

Year 9 Students Visit Gurdwara in Gravesend

Last Friday, Year 9 students had the incredible opportunity to visit the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend as part of their studies on different cultures, religious beliefs, and values. This trip helped bring the lessons from their Ethics classes to life, offering a deeper understanding of Sikhism and the teachings of the faith.

In partnership with the Sikh community, students had the chance to learn firsthand about the customs, traditions, and values that shape the Sikh way of life. We are grateful to the Gurdwara for hosting us and providing such a meaningful experience!

This is just one example of how we continue to encourage respect, dialogue, and understanding of both religious and non-religious beliefs at St Edmund's Catholic School.
