Feast of Saint Josephine Bakhita
Today, we mark the Feast of Saint Josephine Bakhita with our House Mass.
Saint Bakhita is the patron saint of Sudan, South Sudan, and all victims of human trafficking. Her life of courage, forgiveness, and profound faith continues to inspire people across the world.
As the land of her birth faces a devastating humanitarian crisis, we turn to her example of love, hope, and reconciliation. Saint Bakhita teaches us that even in the darkest of circumstances, compassion and forgiveness can break through suffering and division.
May her witness encourage our school community to stand for dignity, justice, and peace, and to hold in our prayers all those affected by conflict and exploitation.
