COVID-19 Vaccination

All children aged 12 to15 years are now being offered the COVID-19 vaccination in school.

Coronavirus can affect anyone. For most children and young people COVID-19 is usually a milder illness that rarely leads to complications. For a very few the symptoms may last for longer than the usual 2 to 3 weeks. The vaccination will help to protect your child against COVID-19.

Evidence shows that school disruption as a result of Covid infections has had a severe impact on children’s mental and physical health, as well as their education.
