Although some exams have been completed already, this coming Monday will be the beginning of the busy exam period. As previously stated, this is going to be a stressful and testing time but as a school, we want to support the students and yourselves as parents the best we can. Below are some points I went through with the students in assembly on Wednesday and I have put them below for you to read and reiterate with your child;

•Stop revising well before sleep time
•Eat a moderately-sized, healthy dinner
•Phones/screens away at least 1 hour before sleep time
•Go to bed to allow 8-9 hours sleep
•Get up slightly early to prepare and reflect
•Eat a moderately-sized, healthy breakfast
•Ensure you are exercised right before the exam
•Make sure you have a plan to get in early, especially if there is a revision session on before

On Monday 14th May, the Religious Studies exam is taking place. This is an afternoon exam and starts at 1pm. Please refer to the letter you have received regarding exam expectations. I would however like to reiterate that students must be in full uniform, have all their equipment, be on time and ensure behaviour is exemplarily during the exams.

Below is a message form the RE department ahead of the exam, which will be significant for you to read with your son/daughter;

“I never say good luck as these exams are not about luck, they are about all the hard work that you have put in over several years. Instead, I hope that you do your best and are rewarded for your efforts.
