CONGRATULATIONS

Yesterday afternoon saw us take on our first rugby fixture of the year. We cannot begin to express how proud we are of the 13 Y10 boys that went to Dover College in the pouring rain yesterday, coming out on top as 52-12 winners.

The boys tackled hard every time they had the ball. Considering they have had one training session together, in attack the boys ran riot, running in a total of 9 tries. Playing some seriously eye catching rugby.

Miles for Miles - A Heroes Welcome

A very loving and emotional homecoming, Mr Graves wasn’t the only wiping away tears, he got to us all! The atmosphere was incredible, a real family and solid community. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Mr Graves in raising funds for his nephew, Miles, who is being treated for osteosarcoma.

The total amount raised by Friday was a staggering £25,181.00. This will go towards funding future treatment and prosthetics for Miles.

Mr Graves said “ it was lovely to come home to St Edmund’s, a completely overwhelming feeling. Mentally and physically challenging, but nothing compared to the gruelling treatment Miles must endure. I’m truly thankful for all the support, donations and the overwhelming home coming, it was a real team effort!”
