Welcome to the St. Edmund’s Catholic School News page. Here we will keep you informed of all the news and events that St Edmunds School is offering.

The new look website that you are now venturing through has had many exciting alterations added to it such as the downloads page, the interactive learning environment and of course here, the news section.

The download link found on the navigation bar will direct you to the download page where you will be able to view the school policies, news letters as well as the school prospectus, meaning this information will always be available to you as and when you need it.

Just as before all members of the school that have a computer account with St. Edmund’s will be able to view and work from their saved documents that are stored safely here on the school premises.  As a future development we are looking at a number of possibilities to enhance and encourage the students learning abilities such as implementing an interactive learning environment whereby students, parents and teachers will be able to communicate directly to each other in a real time environment, as well as this we have the technology and the skills to take this kind of learning even further for example pre-recording seminars that can be viewed at the students own leisure to help them with their studies.

As the website is still in its early days of development there is obviously lots to be done and we would like to encourage anybody that may have any comments or suggestions to please let us know, as constructive criticism is just as necessary as positive feed back so as to  help us with the future development of the site.
